Sports TrainingProfessional athletes have always known the benefits of including jump rope as part of their training program in order to improve their performance. It is proven to help develop greater quickness, agility, balance, strength, power and endurance whether the sport is boxing, gymnastics, soccer, hockey or any other sport you can think of. It is easy to incorporate into any program because once you learn the basic skills it only requires about 5-10 minutes, 3-5 times per week. Boxing

If you are a coach or an athlete and are looking for that added edge, a jump rope training program could be just what you need. I am able to offer sport specific training programs for all ages and fitness levels. All programs begin with an aerobic conditioning program and then as the athlete's progress you can move into anaerobic training. At what level you begin your jump rope program will depend upon the athlete's physical conditioning and previous jump rope experience.

Jump rope training is best performed on a gymnasium type floor but it can be accommodated on a hard carpeted surface, tennis court or sport court. Jumping on concrete is not recommended as it can increase lower body injuries. Hockey

If you or your team is interested in starting a jump rope training program please see the contact page to get in touch with me. Cost will vary depending on the number of athletes and the length of training you require. I will provide all the required ropes.
